We are members of the Western Colorado Chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America in Olathe, Colorado.
Our club consists of people with interests in gold prospecting, treasure hunting, and rockhounding as do many of you, and with other types of outdoor interests.
     It has been brought to our attention of a camp near Estes Park, Colorado called Camp Wapiyapi. Camp Wapiyapi is there to make a dream of a child come true. The camp is available to children that have cancer and are spending so much of their time in the hospital and not outdoors.
     Funds are needed to send these children to the camp for a week of enjoyment. Our Club has challenged ourselves to raise enough money to send at least one child each year to the camp. We need your help. We have set up donation jars at our club meetings and at the annual gem shows, and we are on our way to acheiving our goal. It is too late for this year, but our goal is to send at least one child to the camp next year and each year after that.
